Capabilities

C++ and MFC Programming
Four M Engineering has been using C++ and MFC since Microsoft introduced it for Windows programming.
Win32 API
Four M Engineering has been working with the Win32 API since the  beta 2 version of Windows NT.
Graphics Programming Using OpenGL
Four M Engineering has been developing 3D CAD/CAE programs for the PC since the PC-XT became available.  The introduction of OpenGL in the Win32 environment made this much easier.  Four M Engineering was using a ported version of OpenGL on Windows NT to do CAD before Microsoft announced it.  We were very glad to see Microsoft make it a standard for Win32.
DAO, RDO, and ADO
Four M Engineering's database capability is discussed in the Database Systems section.
Visual Basic Programming
Four M Engineering has used Visual Basic since Version 1.  When it was first released, we used it on a project.  The client was pleased with the success of this application.  We have used it primarily on factory floor automation and client/server applications.  We have found that using VB to do the user interface and database interface, combined with ATL based C++ COM objects or C++ based DLLs, to do the difficult parts, is an ideal way to develop a complex  project quickly.
